Anatomy of a Diabetic Foot

At least 1 in 5 patients with diabetes will develop a foot ulcer in their lifetime. Diabetic foot ulcers are open wounds or sores that can lead to infection if not treated early. Aside from ulcers, patients may suffer from other conditions affecting their feet.
