Dr. Chinkin Coruña graduated medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and completed Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH). He finished fellowship training with some of the world’s best in foot and ankle surgery: Prof. Hong-Geun Jung at Konkuk University Medical Center in South Korea and Prof. Yasuhito Tanaka at Nara Medical University in Japan.

Chinkin is directly involved with comprehensive lower extremity management for Western Visayas as Medical Specialist III, Chief of Foot and Ankle Service in CLMMRH. Dr. Coruña also serves as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Wound Care at The Doctors’ Hospital in Bacolod.

Dr. Coruña represents the Philippines consistently as international faculty for foot, ankle, and wound care topics in various global events.

Dr. Boi Coruña graduated medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and completed Orthopedics at University of the Philippines Manila - Philippine General Hospital. He completed fellowship training in joint replacement with Prof. Ramon Gustilo at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Dr. Coruña is directly involved with health policy in the region, having been part of top management in government and private hospitals. He also serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in CLMMRH and Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital. Dr. Coruña maintains his advisory capacity for relevant orthopedic education in the country after a lengthy and active tenure with the Philippine Board of Orthopaedics.
