Filipino Foot Doctor Presents Study on Ingrown Toenails

Dr. Chinkin Coruña from Bacolod City, Philippines, was one of 112 podium speakers from all over the world. He delivered a lecture on ingrown toenails in diabetic patients in Coex, Seoul, South Korea for the International Federation of Foot and Ankle Societies Congress.
“There are many ways to treat ingrown toenails. We can leave them alone, we can maintain healthy nail hygiene, and we can do proven procedures to alleviate the suffering of patients,” says Dr. Coruña. He continues, “We have so much to learn and teach from our busy patient census in the Philippines. I am very glad that we have participants from six continents attending this event. It’s truly a highlight for 2024, and an honor to be here for the country.”
